Summary/
Abstract
This is the first of a two-case series (805-044-1 and 805-045-1). Frank Nneji, having himself experienced the hardships of travelling by road and the poor quality of private road transport, decided to start ABC Transport. His vision was ?to provide road transport in a comfortable and dignified manner that will make our service an alternative to air transport'. He wanted to revolutionise the transport industry and was ready to break with traditional orthodoxies. In order to sustain its differentiation advantage and to expand its services, ABC needed a good injection of capital. But Frank was finding it difficult and expensive to rely on banking facilities for his working capital. He was considering equity participation as an alternative source of finance.
