When Stanley set up a dry cleaning service, besides himself, no other employee had a degree. Most of the staff had limited education and exposure to management. As the business grew, he saw the need to form a management team made up of university or polytechnic graduates with whom he could work to grow the company. The less educated ones including Solomon, a very valuable employee, begin to feel threatened and relationships begin to fall apart. The case shows how poor communication can lead to misunderstandings and low trust levels
