Abstract
Sugen Moodley has recently experienced the death of one of his employees from an AIDS related illness. He is now faced with getting the board to adopt an appropriate HIVAIDS strategy for his small organization. He considers the responsibility his company has towards employees, widows and orphans of employees, and the communities within with his company operates. Issues such as personal and corporate responsibility, corporate citizenship, methods to change knowledge, attitudes and behaviors regarding HIVAIDS, risks faced by organizations within the HIVAIDS epidemic.This is a factual case.
