Summary/
Abstract
Mr. Layi Babatunde, Editor-in-chief of Lawbreed limited, publishers of Judgements of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (more commonly known as S.C. Report) was reluctant to pay for an office accommodation in Port-Harcourt in October 2002. Acquiring an office in Port-Harcourt was part of a plan to diversify operations to other parts of the country in order to aid the distribution of the monthly editions of the S.C. Reports and other publications of the company. His reluctance was due mainly to the challenges of controlling a multi-branch operation. Layi Babatunde knew he had to make some changes to the existing distribution system and considered some options.
