


AABS - Emerald 2012 Case Competition
Fourth AABS-EMERALD Case Competition 2012
Once again, Emerald is partnering with AABS in the AABS/Emerald Case Study Competition 2012.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the three most outstanding submissions; with US$1,500 being awarded to the winner, and US$1,000 and US$500 being awarded to the first and second runners-up respectively.
The AABS/Emerald Case Competition will be conducted in two phases:
Phase 1
Phase 1 opens on the 1st December 2011 and those who submit their cases and teaching notes by 15th January 2012 will receive feedback on their cases by mentors assigned by Emerald. Authors will receive their feedback by 31st January 2012.
Phase 2
Entries for the actual case competition will open on 16th January 2012 and close on 20th March 2011. Entries may be submitted by those who did not submit cases to Phase 1 for mentoring. The winner will be announced at the AABS Annual meeting on the 14 - 16 May 2012 at Lagos Business School.
Criteria for entry:
· Applicants must be of African origin or be based at an African institution.
· All case studies should be suitable for use in management education and should be related to managerial issues faced by organisations and individuals.
· All cases must contain a teaching note.
