They had accumulated Ksh 400,000 (US$ 5334) in the bank through individual contribution of Ksh 80,000. It had been eight months since they completed their compulsory internship. Within this short period of time, they had learned how to operate a pharmaceutical store as pharmacists. They had also seen, how their employers run the business. “Can we do it now on our own?” Macharia asked.
