From Inquiry to Action: Piloting Impact Innovation Circles for Business Education Transformation

This hands-on workshop for “acting our way into a new way of thinking” serves as a first on-site prototype of the Impact Innovation Circles (IICs), a unique opportunity for the Global South to lead the global transformation of business and management education. Building on a thread of inquiry sparked at last year’s AABS Deans & Directors Conference in Johannesburg, this session takes the next step in collectively advancing the question of: How institutions across the Global South can act our way towards a thriving future for ‘ALL OF US’ - people and planet?

Rather than adapting to dominant models, the IICs invite us to co-create new forms of peer-to-peer learning, rooted in local realities yet designed for global relevance. Designed to connect faculty, students, and schools to share practices, scale innovations, and shape positive tipping points across and beyond business education landscape.
