Workshop Faculty

We are delighted to announce the inclusion of two esteemed speakers for this workshop:

1. Linda Ronnie, Professor of Organisational Behaviour and People Management, also serves as the Academic Advisor to the DHET National Collaboration Project: Future Professors Programme (Phase 1). As a National Research Foundation (NRF) rated scholar, Ronnie has made significant contributions to the fields of organizational behavior and higher education, with a particular focus on the psychological contract within the employer-employee relationship. She is the proud recipient of the UCT Distinguished Teacher Award and has achieved international recognition, winning the inaugural Emerald Case Writing Competition and being named runner-up in the 2021 CEEMAN Case Writing Competition. Ronnie, formerly the Dean of Commerce, currently holds the position of acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Teaching and Learning at UCT.

2. Claire Barnardo, the founder and manager of the Case Writing Centre at the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business, brings a wealth of experience to the workshop. Since its establishment in 2017, the center has published 75 teaching cases, many of which have received prestigious awards. With a background in media theory and practice, as well as a decade of editorial experience as an editor and journalist, Claire is passionate about crafting African and emerging market business cases, and she actively champions their importance.
