[Emerald Publishing] Launch of new module on the Cases Learning Hub called ‘Teaching cases online’
Emerald Publishing has just launched a new module on the Cases Learning Hub called ‘Teaching cases online’. This complements our existing ‘Teaching a case’ study eLearning module which guides faculty through scenarios like dealing with unprepared students and providing examples of how to effectively engage students in the classroom. However, the current pandemic has resulted in the need for educators to deliver an increasing number of online classes to enable a continuation of education at this difficult time.
‘Teaching cases online’ covers core issues such as the benefits of teaching online, how to select the right case study to teach online, the challenges you might face and engaging with students in an online environment.
The modules were created in partnership with some great global contributors:
- Michael Goldman, Emerging Markets Case Studies editor
- Tony Christodoulou at GIBS, University of Pretoria
- Will Geoghegan at Indiana University
- Sarah Wymer at Griffith University, Australia
As with all courses within the Cases Learning Hub they are completely free to access. You just need to register a profile here: https://caseshub.emeraldgrouppublishing.com
We really hope this will support you in finding new ways to engage your students during these unprecedented times.
