Nobel International Business School Joins AABS

AABS is pleased to welcome its latest member to join the Association, Nobel International Business School (NiBS).

Founded in Ghana in 2015 as a research-oriented graduate business school, NiBS is poised to become Africa’s premier doctoral school. It aims to make a difference with a new kind of educational model designed to meet the needs of executives, employees and employers in West Africa.

Emerald and AABS were delighted to announce the winners of the 2016-2017 Emerald/AABS Case Study Competition during the 12th Connect annual conference. The joint first place winners were Fatima Hamdulay and Himanshu Vidhani of the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business for their case study on The Evolution of Thinking at K-Way - Where to Next? Prof Mills Soko (pictured) received the award in their absence.

Emerald and AABS were delighted to announce the winners of the 2016-2017 Emerald/AABS Case Study Competition during the 12th Connect annual conference. The third place winners were Prof Uchenna Uzo of Lagos Business School and Prof Louis Nzegwu of University of Wisconsin-Platteville for their case study on Indomie Noodles in Africa: Lessons on Digital and Cultural Branding. Prof Olawale Ajai received the award in their absence.

It has the fastest-growing and most youthful population in the world where 60% of it is under the age of 24. These statistics present a serious challenge (or may be real opportunities). AABS Pilots Accreditation for African Business Schools

The Association of African Business Schools (AABS) has launched a pilot accreditation programme to benchmark the provision of high-quality management education in Africa.  

The AABS Accreditation is a unique system whose standards are underpinned by African contexts, thereby making it relevant to business schools in the continent. The accreditation standards will be at par with other globally recognised accreditation systems that business schools currently aspire to attain.
