Hanane El Kouari
Hanane EL Kouari joined AABS in May 2018 as the ExecutiveDirector. Hanane was born in Casablanca, Morocco. She has been engaged in the education field in Africa for nearly a decade and has served as Head of Africa and Middle East Network at IESEG school of management-Paris/Lille- one of the top business schools worldwide (triple crowned/FT ranking). She took the lead in designing, implementing and reinforcing IESEG’sAfrican strategy, with a specific focus on double degree programs, strategic partnerships, research collaboration and talent detection.
In addition, Hanane brings with her from her previous role with HSBC Global Asset Management, a strong background in intercultural communication and project management. During her professional career, she spoke at numerous conferences dedicated to education, such as accreditation bodies EFMD and AACSB, where she also served as member of the Africa conference steering committee and plenary speaker.
Hanane’s key interests are EducationalTechnology, youth empowerment, CSR, Critical thinking, Quality assurance and gender equality.
Hanane holds a Bachelors in Translation (French-English-Arabic-Spanish) and a Masters in Intercultural Communication and Management from ISIT (Institut Catholique de Paris).
